Detailed Itinerary of True Colors of Rajasthan Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

Our agent will receive you at Delhi International Airport and take you to your accommodation in Delhi. Delhi is a magnificent symbol of India’s glorious past and lively present. It has never failed to astound tourists with its breathtaking blend of many nationalities, distinct cultures and customs, history from bygone eras, and contemporary lifestyle. Today is a day off. Stay the night in a hotel in Delhi.

Day 2: Delhi Sightseeing

After breakfast, continue on a sightseeing tour of Delhi, beginning with a visit to Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque. Chandni Chowk is the oldest and largest bazaar in Old Delhi. Later, walk to Fatehpuri Masjid and take a rickshaw to Red Fort. Transport to Rajghat, where an eternal flame is blazing on one side of this monument. Visit the Humayun’s Tomb, India’s first garden-style mausoleum. Drive through the Indian President’s residence, Rashtrapati Bhawan, and the World War I memorial, India Gate. Visit the Qutub Minar, which Qutab-ud-din Aibak erected in 1193. It is the highest brick minaret ever erected. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi – Mandawa (232 KMS/APPROX. 5-6 HRS)

After breakfast, depart the hotel and go to Mandawa. Upon arriving, register at the hotel. After you’ve had a chance to relax, go shopping in Mandawa’s bustling marketplaces. In the evening, stroll among the numerous beautiful “Havelis” in this little, quaint village and strike up a chat with locals. You may visit a variety of magnificent Havelis and Castles in the Shekhawati region, which used to be an important town, between the neighbouring cities of Nawalgarh and Laxmangarh. The bulk of these Havelis, which stand alone as museums, was built in the 18th and 19th centuries as residences for affluent merchants. Overnight reside here.

Day 4: Mandawa – Bikaner [192 KMS/APPROX. 4-5 HRS]

After breakfast, proceed to Bikaner. When you arrive at the hotel, check-in. The afternoon trip includes a visit to Junagarh Fort and a half-day tour of Bikaner. Later, stop at the Camel Research and Breeding Farm. It is Asia’s only facility of its kind. The camels are dressed in vibrant, conventional attire that contrasts with the dry, brown surroundings and is sold at the animal markets in Bikaner and Jaisalmer. Overnight stay here.

Day 5: Bikaner – Jaisalmer (330 KMS/APPROX. – 6-7 HRS)

Take a trip to Jaisalmer after breakfast. Check into the hotel upon arrival. A day off for recreation. Jaisalmer hotel overnight stay.

Day 6: Jaisalmer Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer‘, which includes a visit to the Jaisalmer Fort. Its massive yellow sandstone walls are tawny lion in colour during the day and honey-gold at night. Visit Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli & Patwon-Ki-Haveli – two magnificent mansions with complex stone carvings and latticework. Day 7: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur [288 KMS/APPROX. 6-7 HRS]

Drive to Jodhpur in the morning after breakfast. When you arrive, check into the hotel. Today is a free day. Stay in a hotel in Jodhpur for the night.

Day 8: Jodhpur – Udaipur [270 KMS/APPROX. 5-6 HRS]

After breakfast, explore Jodhpur. Explore the Mehrangarh Fort. There are several magnificent palaces with intricately carved panels, latticed windows, or “Jharokas” with evocative titles. The Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Sileh Khana, and Daulat Khana chambers speak eloquently of a bygone era’s grandeur and splendour. Then, make a visit to the Jaswant Thada, a beautiful marble cenotaph. Afternoon check-out, return to the hotel and then depart for Udaipur. After arriving, check-in at the hotel. Overnight hotel stays in Udaipur.

Day 9: Udaipur Sightseeing

Tour Udaipur after breakfast. Visit the City Palace, a modest palace built in 1559 with a view of Lake Pichola. The Durbar Hall, Crystal Gallery, Palace Museum, and Jagdish Temple are among this palace’s most prominent attractions. Visit the world-famous Brahma Temple, India’s sole temple exclusively dedicated to Lord Brahma and located on a tributary of Pushkar Lake. Spend time visiting Pushkar’s vibrant marketplaces. Overnight stay in a Pushkar hotel.

Day 11: Pushkar – Jaipur [145 KMS/APPROX. 3-4 HRS]

After breakfast, go to Jaipur. Check-in at the hotel after arrival. The day is yours to spend whatever you choose. Jaipur hotel stays for the night.

Day 12: Jaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, proceed to Amber Fort. This fort’s reflection as it hits Maota Lake is very mesmerizing. Enjoy a Jeep trip to and from the fort here. Next, go to the City Palace. On the shores of Pichola Lake stands Jaipur’s royal palace. It contains past kings’ private and public meeting rooms, enormous silver utensils, courtyards, exquisitely carved private kings’ apartments, and much more.

Day 13: Jaipur – Agra via Fatehpur Sikri [260 KMS/APPROX. 6 HRS]

Check out of the hotel and drive to Agra after breakfast. Enway, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, an ancient abandoned town founded by Emperor Akbar. Fatehpuri Sikri’s notable features include the Diwan-e-Khas, the Diwan-i-Aam, and the Panch Mahal. The marble Tomb of Salim Chishti, set like a diamond in a courtyard of pink sandstone, is surrounded by delicately carved, lacy marble panels. The Buland Darwaza, is a 54-meter-high gateway created to memorialize Akbar’s Aligarh, the famed university town that is a hub of Islamic learning.

Day 14: Agra – Delhi [220 KMS/APPROX. 4 HRS], DELHI DEPARTURE

Visit the world-famous Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World erected by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in remembrance of his queen Mumtaz Mahal. Breakfast is served at the motel.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and visit Agra Fort, which is similar to Delhi’s beautiful Red Fort. Some must-see sites are the Diwan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas, and Sheesh Mahal. After that, head to Delhi International Airport to catch your journey back home.
